Aster DM Quality Care names Varun Khanna as MD and Group CEO

Varun Khanna has been appointed as Managing Director & Group CEO of Aster DM Quality Care.

With more than 25 years of leadership experience spanning healthcare, hospital management, digital transformation, business strategy, and operational excellence, he has established a strong track record of driving growth and transformation across leading healthcare organisations.

In his new role, Khanna will spearhead the strategic integration of Aster India, CARE Hospitals, KIMSHEALTH, and Evercare, with a focus on advancing clinical excellence, enhancing patient-centric care, accelerating digital innovation, and delivering sustainable long-term growth.

Before taking on this role, Khanna served as Group Managing Director at CARE Hospitals | KIMS | Evercare (Quality CARE India Limited). Over the course of his career, he has held senior leadership positions at Sahyadri Hospitals, Siloam Hospitals Group, Fortis Healthcare, Bain Capital, BD, e&, Reliance Retail, Reliance Communications, and airtel.

His diverse experience spans healthcare delivery, hospital operations, digital health, commercial strategy, business transformation, and enterprise leadership, making him one of the industry’s seasoned healthcare executives. Indian Pharma Post
