Philips Personal Health has elevated Smit Shukla to Country Head – India Subcontinent. Previously serving as Consumer Marketing Lead at Philips Personal Health ISC Zone, Shukla brings over 15 years of diverse experience across FMCG, FMCD, consumer tech, e-commerce, and OTC sectors, with notable stints at GSK, Reckitt (RB), and Urban Company.

At Philips, Shukla notably led the marketing function with full P&L accountability, driving a turnaround of the India business to achieve consistent high double-digit growth.

He developed and executed a Gen Z-focused playbook that tripled volume run rates and championed the company’s quick commerce expansion, growing market share from 5% to 35% within six months.

He also conceptualized Philips’ premium category launch, including electric shavers, beauty, and mother and child care segments.

Prior to Philips, Shukla held senior leadership roles at Urban Company, where he led marketing and growth strategies across multiple categories. He also co-founded a startup aimed at disrupting the kids’ ecosystem through fast fashion innovations. Mediabrief
