Dräger Babyleo TN500
Draeger India Pvt Ltd
Advanced developmental care and thermoregulation for premature and critically ill neonates
The Dräger Babyleo TN500 is an advanced IncuWarmer designed to support the complex needs of premature and critically ill newborns by combining advanced thermoregulation with developmental and family-centered care principles. By integrating open care, closed care, and transitional care functionalities into a single platform, Babyleo enables caregivers to provide continuous, individualized support throughout the neonatal care journey.
At the core of the system are three synchronized heat sources–a convective heater, a dual radiant warmer, and a heated mattress–which work together to support temperature stability throughout the newborn’s care journey. This unique approach helps minimize temperature fluctuations during caregiving interventions and patient transfers, reducing physiological stress and supporting the infant’s adaptation and recovery.
The Babyleo TN500 is designed to facilitate efficient clinical workflows. Its hood can be opened quickly for immediate access during interventions, while large hand-ports provide caregivers with convenient access to the entire patient area. Adjustable height and mattress positioning support ergonomic working conditions and improve accessibility for both clinicians and parents.
Developmental care –one of the most critical aspects of neonatal management is effectively supported by Babyleo’s advanced features, including exceptionally low operating noise levels and integrated monitoring of ambient light and sound exposure, and a carefully controlled microenvironment that helps reduce excessive sensory stimulation. These capabilities help create a neuro-supportive environment by minimizing unnecessary sensory stimuli, thereby promoting neurological development, improved sleep cycles, reduced stress responses, and enhanced overall growth for vulnerable neonates.
Babyleo TN500 promotes family-centered neonatal care by enabling parents to remain close to their baby, fostering early bonding and active participation throughout the NICU journey. Combined with advanced thermoregulation, neuroprotective developmental care, and infection prevention features, it supports individualized care that enhances neonatal health, growth, neurodevelopment, and long-term clinical outcomes for premature and critically ill newborns.
