Powered by HORIBA’s patented CoRA technology (Correlated Rouleaux Analysis), Yumizen H500E/H550E delivers ESR results in 1 minute, from EDTA samples used for CBC testing, eliminating the need for dedicated ESR tubes and additional reagents. The ESR measurement is validated against the Westergren reference method, ensuring reliable and clinically relevant results. The analyzer processes up to 60 samples/hour and provides 38 reportable parameters, including an extended white blood cell differentials featuring immature and atypical cell populations (IML, IMM, IMG, ALY) for infection screening. MIC% and MAC% parameters are available to enhance evaluation of microcytic and macrocytic RBC populations, supporting the diagnosis of anemia and related disorders. It also features a comprehensive flagging system for detecting hypochromia, anisocytosis, poikilocytosis, and dual RBC populations.
