Shalinitai Meghe Hospital, Nagpur opens Nanhe Kadam-IVF Centre

In a significant development for the medical community, the Nanhe Kadam-IVF Centre was inaugurated on 22nd June at the 895 bedded multi super speciality Shalinitai Meghe Hospital and Research Centre attached to Datta Meghe Medical College, Wanadongri, Nagpur. This momentous event coincided with the birthday celebrations of Shalinitai Meghe, Patron of the Datta Meghe Institute of Higher Education & Research (DMIHER), who presided over the function.

The inauguration ceremony was graced by the esteemed presence of Kanchantai Gadkari, Chairperson of Matru Sewa Sangh & Sewa Sadan, who honored the occasion by officially inaugurating the IVF Centre. She was accompanied by Adv. Amit Karkhanis, Legal Advisor, State Board of ART and Surrogacy, Government of Maharashtra. Sagar Meghe, Principal Advisor; Dr Lalitbhushan Waghmare, Vice Chancellor; Ravidada Meghe, Member-BOM; Devika Meghe & Vrinda Meghe, Chief Advisors; Dr Anup Marar, CEO(MGI) & Director DMIHER Off Campus; Dr Uday Meghe, OSD-AVBRH, Dr Ujwal Gajbe, Dean; Dr Brij Singh, Vice Dean; Dr Vasant Gawande, CMS; and Dr Sudhir Singh, AMS were also prominently present on this occasion.

The Nanhe Kadam-IVF Centre is poised to be a beacon of hope for couples facing challenges in conceiving. The ceremony began with a warm welcome address by Dr Rajasi Sengupta, HOD of Obstetrics and Gynecology (OBGY), followed by a lamp lighting ceremony by all dignitaries. The inauguration of the Nanhe Kadam-IVF Centre was performed by the auspicious hands of Kanchantai Nitin Gadkari.

Speaking on the occasion, Kanchantai Nitin Gadkari highlighted the importance of advanced healthcare facilities in fostering community well-being. She commended the efforts of the Shalinitai Meghe Hospital and Research Centre in expanding its services and maintaining a commitment to excellence in healthcare. She emphasized how the new IVF Centre would provide essential low-cost quality reproductive healthcare services, greatly improving the quality of life for its patients.
