Arab Health: Rs 295cr of MedTech MoUs and Rs 250cr healthcare signed
A delegation, led by Industries Minister Harshwardhan Chauhan, signed MoUs worth over Rs 2,300 crore in various sectors during the ‘Arab Health 2024’ in Dubai today. The MoUs were signed in key sectors such as medical devices, tourism, Ayush and green energy.
The visit garnered substantial interest from stakeholders in the healthcare ecosystem, leading to a series of successful Business-to-Government (B2G) meetings with potential investors on Tuesday.
Extending a warm welcome to investors representing leading companies from India, UAE, Japan and other countries, Chauhan outlined the goals of the state government in transforming Himachal Pradesh into a favourable green investment destination. Chauhan emphasised on the robust pharma ecosystem in the state, shedding light on the upcoming Bulk Drug Park and Medical Device Park that will seamlessly complete the pharma sector’s value chain within the state.
To encourage investment, the minister assured state support by highlighting key policy incentives aimed at reducing the cost of manufacturing for both the Bulk Drugs Park and Medical Devices Park.
