Shenzhen New Industries Biomedical Engineering Co. Ltd. (briefed as Snibe) was founded in 1995, as a professional biomedical company that specializes in R&D, production, and sale of clinical laboratory instruments and reagents kits. Snibe has been focusing on the R&D of immunoassay products with more than 22 years. After decades of effort, in 2008, Snibe became the first company in China to successfully develop and release fully automated chemiluminescence immunoassay (CLIA) system. Until now, Snibe has established the good cooperation relationship with the local distributors in over 120 countries and areas with 7000 analyzer units' installation. The market share is increasing gradually; Snibe also depends on the competitive advantages to cooperate with more customers globally.

Market Strategy

There is a good scope for the diagnostics business in India due to increasing awareness among the public in rural areas. When these products reach towns (like Jaipur, Lucknow, Kanpur, Indore, Agra, Chandigarh, Jalandhar, Gorakhpur, Dehradun, Bareilly, Moradabad, Gaya, Patna) and villages, the utilization and demand will increase.

The Indian market is a cut-throat and price-sensitive market, and almost every prominent entrepreneur pays a lot of attention to exploit this market, so in order to protect the profit of our distributors, our emphasis will be on the business part and after-sales-service.

Initially, to high-end market-particular strategies will be applied to promote the installation of MAGLUMI machine with the help of distributors based on the actual status of the end user. Furthermore, it is considered that professional engineers and application specialists are required to ensure the normal operation of our MAGLUMI system in order to get the reagent order from customer side, thus no less than four dedicated after-sales specialists of our company will be based in India for providing professional service for end users and distributors.

Merging Program

Until now, there is no project to merge any indigenous entity in India; however a subsidiary of Snibe will be set up in key markets based on the company's global strategy.

Two new biochemistry machines BC240 and BC360 with laundry are emerging to cater to the demands of the Indian market.

Snibe's first step for promotion all over the world started from India in 2010, and the company has seen rapid growth in the last 7 years. Maglumi series now has several hundred installations all over India even in the chain labs. Right now, India set-up is the service point for providing service to customers all over India, which is much more convenient for providing service to customers locally.
