A memorandum of understanding (MoU) to work toward setting up of a first of its kind 1000-crore Life Sciences Infrastructure Fund of the country in Telangana as well as a slew of strategic partnerships and investments, together valued at 3382 crore, were announced at the 14th edition of Bio Asia, Hyderabad.

The MoU, between the state government and PE firm Cerestra, will explore the creation of a Life Sciences Infrastructure Fund that will be used to provide sophisticated modular plug-and-play infrastructure for pharma/biotech/medical device industry.
