Damodar Valley Corporation (DVC), and West Bengal's Damodar River areas has renewed its agreement with Jamshedpur-based Brahmananda Narayana Multispeciality Hospital under which the hospital will provide cashless treatment to all DVC Pensioners and their spouses and regular employees of DVC along with their dependent family members. Based on the agreement DVC has released revised rates.
An official informed that the pensioners willing to seek admission in the Brahmananda Narayan Multispeciality Hospital can do so based on the DVC pension book or voter ID or Aadhar card to avail the treatment and cashless facility. Upon confirmation of the credit limit available with the patient, the hospital will provide treatment accordingly.
In case of a clinical requirement for any non-approved stent or device implantation, said the hospital handout, the hospital will proceed for such implantation with prior consent of the patient and required permission from DVC director of health service or appropriate authority.
The agreement will not cover any personal expenses in the hospital and also diet charges, except those which are included in bed charges. Cosmetic surgery and treatment will also not be covered under this agreement between DVC and Brahmananda Narayana Multispeciality Hospital. Regular DVC employees can admit themselves or their dependent family members on the basis of their pink or yellow slips or by presenting their medical treatment book before the hospital staff.
